The band gave themself this unusual name, because all of the founding members somehow managed to escape from the allmighty sarlacc
As most of the condemnations haven't been completely unjustified,
constantly members of the band were in conflict with the law on various
planets, and therefor had to leave the band.
Fortunately the band was traveling and touring very much and so
they allways found replacemend for leaving members. Because of this the
band still has a remarkable potential and is showing this in every
single show.

The only remaining members of the original Sarlacc Surivors are Miss Lirana’Su and Jax Rebo.
Main goal of the band is to visit every single planet of the galaxy and shwo their abilities to the creatures/aliens/humans there.
After numberless concerts, as said in different instrumentations, the Survivors found a relativly unknown, small planet in the most outer section of the galaxy, and as their set goal is to play on every planet on the galaxy, including also the smaller worlds, they decided to include this planet in their current "Rock the Galaxy"-tour: The EARTH!
Untill now the Sarlacc Survivors only had very few gigs on this planet, and by chance there have been allways been science fiction conventions (here). Of course the band couldn't let this great oportunity pass by, and went to perform there. As allways they have been celebrated by the fans.
